Thousands of people have complained about acai berry weight loss products. They “bit” at the offer to try a free sample, and gave the company their credit card number for shipping and handling fees. Unfortunately, the company also charged them for several months worth of products. And when those consumers tried to cancel their orders, they couldn’t reach the company.
Be careful about responding to pop-up weight loss ads on the internet too. Sometimes the only thing that gets lighter is your wallet.
