This is the third year that the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin Foundation has offered financial scholarships to Wisconsin high school students who have demonstrated character, leadership and ethical values; providing the opportunity to continue their education beyond high school at an accredited college.

In addition, these scholarship are intended to create long-term ties with future Wisconsin business leaders who will promote ethics in the marketplace as they pursue their careers. Scholarship winners are spotlighted at the BBB's annual Torch Award for Business Ethics & Integrity banquet in October.

In 2012, the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin will award two types of scholarships:

The Student of Integrity - Industry and Trades
A $2,500 scholarship will be awarded to a Wisconsin student, entering an industrial or technical trade, who has demonstrated ethics and integrity.  The scholarship will be awarded for post-high school education at any U.S. based accredited higher education institution or training program beginning in the fall 2012. Co-sponsored by the Wisconsin Better Business Bureau Foundation and Briggs & Stratton.
