Online DVD Retailer Ignores Consumers’ Complaints

Consumers Report Paying for Products That Are Late or Never Delivered

Austin, TX - November 29, 2010 – BBB has issued an F rating to San Saba-based PB&J Sales, for failing to respond to consumer complaints. The company, which sells television show DVDs, indicated to BBB in September of 2008 that it was no longer in business.  However, the ten complaints that have been filed against PB&J Sales this year confirm that business transactions are again taking place.

Out of the ten consumers across the U.S. who filed complaints against PB&J Sales this year, seven allege that the DVDs ordered have not yet been received. These seven consumers have waited several months after placing their orders and are now requesting full refunds. The refunds requested consist of payments between $40-90. The company has not responded to these complaints or requests for refunds yet this year.

In the past three years, a total of 37 consumers nationwide allege that orders placed with PB&J Sales did not arrive for several weeks after the delivery timeframe estimate provided by the company.  Consumers further allege they have difficulty getting a response from PB&J Sales about the status of their orders or about requests for a refund. BBB contacted the company in October 2010 with regards to the pattern of complaints, but has not received a response.

BBB reports the company currently sells television show DVDs through the website carolburnett.tv. Previous complaints to BBB also reference website addresses tvshowmedia.com and dvdznstuff.com, which are currently inactive. Consumers provide BBB with the same company owner and address for purchases made on all three websites.
