Wisconsin BBB Looking For Outstanding High School Seniors for Scholarship Program

Milwaukee, Wis. – The deadline is approaching to apply for the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin Foundation’s Student of Integrity scholarships.

This is the fourth year that the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin Foundation has offered financial scholarships to Wisconsin high school students who have demonstrated character, leadership and ethical values; providing the opportunity to continue their education beyond high school at an accredited college.

In addition, these scholarships are intended to create long-term ties with future Wisconsin business leaders who will promote ethics in the marketplace as they pursue their careers.

In 2013, the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin will award two $2,500 “Student of Integrity” scholarships to Wisconsin high school students. These scholarships are sponsored by the BBB of Wisconsin Foundation and Briggs & Stratton Corporation in Milwaukee. Applications must be received in BBB offices by 4pm on March 1, 2013.

To qualify, applicants must be a high school senior, a U.S. citizen and legal resident of Wisconsin. Requirements include providing a certified copy of his/her transcript with grade point average, providing a description of post-secondary education plans, writing a 500-word essay, and supplying at least two written recommendations.
